The former Hydroclimate project for Lake Victoria (HyVic) Regional Hydroclimate Project (RHP) was being developed under the auspices of the World Climate Research Program (WCRP)’s GEWEX project. The primary purpose of HyVic was to provide understanding of the climate over the Lake Victoria Basin (LVB) and improve its predictability and projections to support decision making in the region.
