The International GEWEX Project Office (IGPO), which coordinates and carries out GEWEX activities, is hosted by the Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies (COLA), located at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, U.S.A. The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is the primary sponsor of IGPO.
